Owner/ Photographer

Nina has been a freelance music photographer for 9 years. She studied Digital Photography at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, FL. It was during that time she really developed her passion for shooting live music. Nina has been published in the Tampa Bay Times and has regularly contributed to OnlyInPgh, NakYouOut, and PennsylvaniaMusicNews. Some of her absolute favorite events she has covered has been Young The Giant, Grouplove,  Mindless Self Indulgence, Warped Tour, and Cage the Elephant. Capturing the raw emotions each musician pours into their live performance is what Nina lives for. Channeling her inner gypsy, she is truly addicted to traveling, and always planning her next trip. 

Tori B

Owner/ Writer

Tori's entertainment writing career dates back to 1999, when she created a classic glue-stick-and-Xerox fan zine focused soley on the Backstreet Boys, complete with mock interviews and carefully crafted photo galleries. Since then, Tori has broadened and improved both her writing skills and musical taste. She has contributed to several media outlets, including Re-Gen, The Vindicator, and Described by some as a mindgoddess, Tori's ability to adapt to her endeavors has proven impressive, covering everything from sugary pop-punk to aggressive electro to instrumental storytelling. Deconstructing soundscapes to analyze and qualify has always come naturally to Tori and driven her to seek out and create opportunities to offer her spin on the musical world.

Miranda W- Lead Contributing Writer

Miranda Woody is an up-and-coming journalist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is currently studying English (with an emphasis on writing) at Concord University and will be graduating December of 2017. Her work has been featured in publications such as Spotlight West Virginia. Born and raised in West Virginia, Miranda learned to appreciate music from a young age by sharing music with her father and brothers. Miranda travels often and attends as many festivals and live shows as possible.

Keegan W - Contributing Writer & Photographer

Keegan has been a freelance writer and photographer for the last 4 years, with a lifelong passion for music. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2014 with a degree in Foreign Affairs and a minor in English Rhetoric. Having lived in Montana, Idaho, North Carolina, Washington, D.C., and the Czech Republic, his curiosity for culture is equally matched by his curiosity for different types of music and mediums of art. Attending live shows dating back to 1995, he understands that there’s no substitute for live music, and is thankful to be a member of this team.

Vicky has been going to concerts since she was 16 years old and has seen more than 100 shows. It's the one thing she treats herself to. Vicky keeps all of her ticket stubs and plans to build a big display of them one day. Seeing and hearing live music with friends and other fans is an experience like no other.

Jessi K - Contributing Photographer

Jessi is an esteemed photographer and designer. She was graduated from Penn State University in 2014 with two Bachelor’s degrees in Advertising and Integrative Arts, and a minor in Art History. She has worked as a concert and event photographer for various companies and organizations, including Ziggy Sawdust Productions, Levels Nightclub, Penn State’s Student Programming Association, and Valley Magazine. She also covers music festivals, such as Movin’ On, State Fest, and Layer Cake. Some of the recording artists she photographed included Wiz Khalifa, Echosmith, Fitz & the Tantrums, MGMT, and American Authors. Jessi applies her strong knowledge of fine art to her work, especially with regards to composition, color, and lighting. 

Dorothy M - Contributing Writer

Dorothy McDonough or as most people in the local musical industry know her, Dot, has a sound ear for music of all varieties. Since 2009 she has been a dedicated employee to Seasound studios as an audio engineer. More recently, in early 2015 she began working at “The Spire” initially assisting with stage and light setup, before moving up to part time audio engineer working with artists Mieka Pauley, Jon Butcher Axis, Rita Coolidge,  Paula Cole and the Chandler Travis Philharmonic to name a few. Dot knew at a young age that she loved music and majored in Recording Arts at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida.  There she gained the knowledge and insight for coordinating press releases, operating and maintaining recording equipment and also how to produce and record sound, effects, dialogue and music. She hopes to continue down this path of music and audio engineering with hopes of one day being able to open her own studio.
